    Strike Crew

  • On occasion, couples find themselves in a situation where their vendors and/or venue does not include set up/tear down crews. In these instances, couples often opt to recruit their friends/family/bridal party to assist with these tasks. No matter how enthusiastic they were when they agreed, by the end of an exciting wedding night they often think otherwise.

In our experience, unreliable help with set up/tear down can result in additional fees due to late departure and/or not returning the venue to its original state of cleanliness which would be a breach of contract.

In response to this common issue, Three Tree Weddings has a policy where we include a “Strike Crew” add-on. This is simply to take away the stress of set up/tear down from your family and guests. We aim to give you as well as your friends and family the ability to enjoy your day and be stress free even after the wedding is over. If a couple decides to opt out of our “Strike Crew” our contract will reflect such changes.

If opting out of Three Tree Weddings’ Strike Crew we will oversee your preferred set up/tear down crew, serving as point person for the length of the process.

  • The difference between a Wedding Coordinator and a Wedding Planner is often misunderstood.

A wedding coordinator is logistically focused but on a shorter timeline than a planner. They usually begin helping you prepare a month before the wedding and function as the point person on the wedding day. Prior to the wedding, they will confirm with vendors, coordinate the rehearsal and create a day-of timeline. When it comes to the Wedding Day, the coordinator is present throughout the entire day making sure everything goes according to plan and solves problems as needed.

Coordinators make sure everything is in order, nothing is forgotten, and you're free to enjoy your wedding day.

  • Wedding planners are logistically focused in the months/year prior to your wedding. From vendor booking and contract negotiation to day-of creation of your vision. A planner can help with the budget and provide insight on every detail from vendor specifics to floor plans and site tours. They can accompany you on viewings and tastings, and will be your main spokesperson when communicating with vendors. They are very hands on leading up to the wedding, as opposed to a Coordinator whose main job revolves around the wedding day.

Planners are with you from booking to wedding day and are your “right hand man” so you can enjoy your year of engagement completely stress free.
